“My sunburst jigsaw is inspired by my love of midcentury design and art. The process starts by creating a series of hand painted and printed papers, which I then cut and piece together to make up the collaged artwork. I adore pattern and have many sketchbooks full of designs, that often make their way onto my finished pieces."
About Sharon Nullmeyer: Sharon Nullmeyer aka Nullsie, currently lives in New York with her two dogs, Larry Gandolf Jr and Priscilla.
Sharon paints every day in watercolor or gouache and takes her sketchbook everywhere. Her colorful art is inspired by her love of museums, old houses, art classes, road trips, flowers, books, antique tins, music, and lots of color. You can find her every morning painting at her red desk with the music on and a giant cup of coffee.
