Join Heather, owner and creator of Persimmon Street Ceramics for a lesson in making and painting organic shape ring dishes made from Domestic Porcelain clay.
Get to know Heather Lezla: Heather is an artist exploring her new suburban landscape...She does this by taking impressions with slabs of clay and translating them into functional objects for you to use. Years of museum work, a passion for gardening coupled with her husbands culinary roots in France has produced two product lines : Home and Garden.
What you will be doing: You will learn to incorporate natural materials and textures such as rocks and shells to form the clay into your dish set and you will also have the opportunity to paint a set too!
No prior experience needed.
Upon completion, you will receive dishes, which will range from 3” to 6” in size and will be glazed with your choice of lead free colors. Use for jewelry, change, air plants or even food presentation!
You will receive your 4 dishes in 2 weeks at Gift and Gather just in time for the Holiday season...
