Join Heather, owner and creator of Persimmon Street Ceramics for a lesson in making and painting organic shape ring dishes made from Domestic Porcelain clay.

Get to know Heather LezlaHeather is an artist exploring her new suburban landscape...She does this by taking impressions with slabs of clay and translating them into functional objects for you to use. Years of museum work, a passion for gardening coupled with her husbands culinary roots in France has produced two product lines 

What you will be doing: You will learn to incorporate natural materials and textures such as rocks and shells to form the clay into your dish set and you will also have the opportunity to paint a set too!

No prior experience needed.

Upon completion, you will receive dishes, which will range from 3” to 6” in size and will be glazed with your choice of lead free colors. Use for jewelry, change, air plants or even food presentation!

You will receive your 4 dishes in 2 weeks at Gift and Gather just in time for the Holiday season...

Fee includes

  • 1 Pound of Domestic Porcelain clay
  • Lead free glazed paint
  • Burlap gift bag for your artwork

Please note that you need to register for the workshop 48 hours prior to the class date if tickets are available. You can purchase your workshop ticket here or in person at Gift & Gather. We do not accept walk-in as we need to prepare all materials for you prior to the class.

What else will be including in workshop: You will receive 10% off coupon to shop at Gift & Gather shop. Light snacks and soft drinks will be served. 

Parking: At Gift & Gather parking lot located behind the building. 

When the workshop will be held: Saturday, October12, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Our instructor/class leaders are traveling from other city. Our classes are required minimum attendees, which usually are 6 people. If we do not receive enough interest, the class will be cancelled and you will be notified and your fee will be fully refunded.
